Right, mince pie lovers. We're back with a new mince pie and a slighty refined reviews. Don't worry, the same amount of decision-making is going into each mince pie review, were just going to spare you from all the detail.
We're kicking this year off with the big guns a previous year winner, Harrods.
With what seem to be very much in fashion at the moment, salted caramel has been added to these mince pies in the hope to keep up with the latest trends.
This is how it all looks.
This is definitely one for those salted caramel lovers. I found it overpowers the mincemeat and maybe even the pastry. The sprinkling of speculoos on top makes up for the lack of a lid. As usual, the pastry is top notch. Its a rich (in both senses of the word) mince pie that will be the centre of a debate on whether salted caramel can be added to everything.
