So, here we are. Christmas Eve. It has been a long, crazy year and for many of us in the UK, Christmas has been cancelled. As one final hurrah, lets go out with a bang and review some Harrods mince pie which, avid followers of the blog will know currently hold the top spot on the ultimate leaderboard. Can they make it a 1-2?
Lets see how they look;
Given that this is the last one (and for many not a mince pie that you're going to get today for tomorrow), lets make it quick.
Pastry - awesome - like eating a chocolate shortbread biscuit. I could eat that alone.
Mincemeat - chocolate dominates but you get hints of the chrerry and tartness from the clemantine. It's a bit on the dry side but it is well filled.
I bought these in their sale so it was reduced from £16 to £10... a bargain..*cough*!
