Generally Mr Kipling mince pies are exeedingly average and very little change from year to year. However, this year, I noticed that Good Housekeeping have given their stamp of approval. Given that its been 6 years since i reviewed this mince pie. I felt it was time they had another shot.

We're back and we thought to kick off this year's mince pie reviews with one we haven't reviewed for a couple of years. Mr Kipling; almost a British institution in itself, we're wondering whether they've kept up with the times.
